A few months back I was privileged to review the VSH to DVD 3.0, here. Since then, Honestech has released an updated version of this great little devise. Now available for purchase is the VSH to DVD 4.0 Deluxe. I think this is a great gadget to have. It converts those old VHS tapes that most of us have boxed up, into DVD format. I have several old family videos just sitting around, and I am always worried that something will happen to the VHS tape, and I will loose that irreplaceable footage. With the VHS to DVD 4.0, I can transfer all of that old footage onto DVD's.
Along with the VHS to DVD 4.0, Honestech also released Easy Video Editor 3.0. So now when you record footage, you can edit it to make sure you have exactly what you want. This program is easy to use, which makes it great for me. Both of these products are available for purchase here.
Now for the best part, Honestech is giving away one VHS to DVD 4.0 Deluxe and one Easy Video Editor 3.0, to one lucky reader. That is a $119.98 value!!! Even if you do not have any old VHS tapes sitting around, it would make the perfect gift for a parent who has tons of old VHS tapes. Or even better, if you win, you can transfer all of that footage over to DVD for them.

Sounds like it could be useful/shared with many -- friends & family.
Oh my goodness. I need this so much. I am an elementary French teacher and I have some VHS tapes that I want converted to DVDs. Some of my materials are not even available anymore, and I want to preserve them while I can. This would be so wonderful for me and my students.
