Oh, So Yummy!!

I love to eat, but usually do not go out because it gets expensive when you take five people. Well, I recently had the opportunity to try Romano's Macaroni Grill Restaurant Flavors dinner (thanks to myblogspark). It was great, and super easy. Everything is in the box, except the meat, a little milk, and a little butter. It is so simple, boil the noodles while you mix the sauce and cook the meat. Add it all together, and dinner is done.

I especially love the Creamy Basil Parmesan Chicken and Pasta flavor. I have to say that it tastes a lot like my favorite restaurant pasta, and it was done in twenty minutes. I will definitely have to add this super simple box meal to my list. The really nice thing about these boxed dinners is that they will be great for dinner anytime, or if you are having a special guest over.

I love things that help to simplify my crazy days, and this did just that.

We usually talk about what we learned in that day. It could be from a new book to what the garbage man does with his family on weekends.

We usually talk about everyone's day. I ask each child what the best and worst part of their school day was. For some reason, we always end up talking about my youngest's messy bedroom. It is a sight to behold. Thanks.

My husband and I just get a chance to catch up with each other about the day. It's so refreshing and a wonderful time. It makes it even better if we have his 3 kids with us-definitely keep us entertained with their stories and silliness.

I have a three year old so our table consists of trucks, garbage, "going on a bear hunt song" and constantly reminding my son to not wipe the food in his hair...ha ha. I love this age and it is very fun to sit at the table with my hubby and my son.
