First I placed the sweater on the floor, and shoved my pillow inside to make sure it would fit. Next I took out the pillow and turned the sweater inside out.
I then cut off the sleeves and hood and sewed the bottom and arm holes together.
Next, I turned it right side out through the neck, and inserted my pillow. I sewed up the neck, and that was it.
It took about ten minutes to give my ugly old pillow new life!!
I am linking to these great parties!!

Aww! That's adorable! What a great way to re-use an old sweater! Plus, I imagine if a child had outgrown an important/favorite hoodie or something with an emblem/symbol it would be a great pillow for their room!
I like Lindsay's idea to take a special sweater and turn it into a momento!
That's fantastic! I love that you left the buttons on. It's simple enough that even I could do it!
OMG what a good idea! i have bunches of sweaters that shrink in my closet but i hate to get rid of. i could totally do that!
I have some sweaters that I didnt use for upcycled longies that I could do this with. Thanks!
You are toooo creative!!
Great idea! I would have never even thought to do that.
I love that idea Lindsay, that is great!!
I think I can actually do this one. My daughter loves pillows and it would be so nice to use even a favorite t-shirt to cover up a pillow for her. She has so many that are from trips.
How pretty! I just saw a pillow similar to that at Macy's with a big ole price tag!
You are so talented! Love how you re-purpose!
HA HA HA, I got so caught up reading the comments here.. I can just imagine Pammy Pam's house with like 400 throw pillows everywhere. :-) Tee Hee!
