Recycled bread crumb container!!

Okay, so lately I have been trying to find ways to recycle some of the items we have in our home, rather than sending them to the landfill. A while back, I made this candle holder. Since then, I have decided to use it to hold cotton balls on my bathroom counter. I wanted something that looked similar, but a little smaller to hold q-tips.

I had this bread crumb container in the cabinet, so I decided to use it as the base for my q-tip holder. I spray painted it brown, and once that was dry, I brushed on a little black and blotted it off. Once all of the paint was dry, I hot glued the glass onto the top.

I like the way it turned out, and that is one less piece of trash from our house. Have you found a creative way to recycle something?

CVS Super Deal!!

Okay, so yesterday, I stopped by CVS to pick up some weekly deals. This is what I got:

2 Secret Flawless Deodorants
1 CVS Junior Pain Reliever
1 Pack of Trident Layers
I Revlon Mascara
1 Revlon Concealer (clearance)

I used the B1G1 Secret Coupon, $1.00 Revlon Coup., $3.00 CRT for $10.00 Makeup purchase, and $5.00 CRT for buying two Revlon products, $3.00 ECB and $3.99 ECB.

My total OOP was $5.27, and I earned $5.99 in ECB's.  So, I was happy!!
