The Monday Review!!

This weeks featured products are:

Zen Baby DVD!!

This is a super cute, extremely relaxing DVD for babies and toddlers. The Zen Baby DVD is a combination of nature scenes and images with calming tranquil music in the background. Some of the instruments used include; a piano, Brazilian guitar, along with the sounds of nature. This is a great DVD for toddlers who are developing their vocabulary, because they can name the item on the screen. The pictures used on the DVD include flowers, blue skies, and babies. Zen Baby DVD is 30 minutes long, and includes several chapters.

The Zen Baby DVD proved to be very useful for my children when watching before bedtime. It really helped them to unwind and get ready for bed, and I must admit that it was relaxing for me as well.

The Zen Baby DVD has received several rewards since it was released, and earned the praise of celebrity parents like: Kate Hudson, Courtney Cox, and Reese Witherspoon, to name a few. It has also become very popular with moms across the country by word-of-mouth.

Parents all over have been very impressed with the Zen Baby DVD. The DVD retails for $14.98, while the DVD/CD combo retails for $16.98. If you would like to learn more about Zen Baby products, visit www.zen-baby.com.

The Card Cubby!!

If you are like me, your wallet is probably full of discount cards, business cards, and coupons. Having all of that in one little wallet, can get a little overwhelming sometimes, leading to a fat wallet. Well, Wendy Krepak, has come up with the perfect solution to an unorganized wallet, the Card Cubby.

From the site:
What is a Card Cubby?
"Card Cubby®is an alphabetized mini-card file that fits right into your purse, briefcase or car console! The Card Cubby® measures 5" wide by 3" high and holds approximately 80 cards!"

When I first heard of the Card Cubby, my thought was "It must be too good to be true", but it is true. I was fortunate enough to get a Card Cubby for review, and I LOVE it. No more junk from your wallet falling out all over the store counter. With the Card Cubby there is a place for everything, and it is even alphabetized. You no longer have to worry about missing out on a great sale or discount simply because you can not find the right card.

My favorite feature of the Card Cubby would have to be the fact that it is small enough to fit in your bag, and of course all of the super cute colors that the Card Cubby is available in. The Card Cubby retails for $19.99, and can be purchased at www.cardcubby.com.

Great Reads!!

Mothers Need Time-Outs, Too!!

This is a great book. Mothers Need Time-Outs, Too, was written by a team of three mothers who interviewed over 500 moms internationally for this book. Mothers Need Time-Outs, Too, tackles the sensitive issue of why you, as a mom, need to be a little selfish with your time.

Mothers Need Time-Outs, Too, is filled with 9 chapters that cover topics like changing your attitude, the value of downtime, and the significance of less, along with many others. I really like the fact that throughout the book, the authors not only tell you why it is good to have time to yourself, but they tell you why you should not feel guilty about it, and how it can actually help you improve as a mother.

Susan, Anne, and Katrin, the authors, tell you about the experiences of other mothers throughout the book. This is so helpful because you see that other moms deal with the same situations that you do.

I highly recommend Mothers Need Time-Outs, Too. I think it is a great motivational book, and would benefit all Moms. To find out more about Mothers Need Time-Outs, Too, visit www.momstimeouts.com.

Color Mastery: 10 Principles for Creating Stunning Quilts!!

Color Mastery was written by Maria Peagler. Maria enjoys quilting, and has won a varitey of awards for both her quilts and books. Maria describes Color Mastery as a map for quilters. Rather than just tell you what colors you should use together, she shows you how to make any color work.

The book is sperated into two parts. Part one is a Color Mastery Workbook, while part two deals with making the color mastery quilts. Maria gives you the ten prinicapls that will help you master the art of using color in your quilts, and then gives you different projects to work on.

I found Color Mastery to be a very informative and helpful book. I think many quilters, especially beginners, could benifit tremendously from this book. To find out more about Maria, and where to purchase her book, visit www.colormastery.com.
