The VHS to DVD would be a life saver right about now. Except I don't think I can win it by tonight.
Guess I'll have to dig up a VCR.

I can't begin to tell you how much I need the converter from tape to DVD device. I am an elementary French teacher, so materials are very hard to come by. I have many VSH tapes that I have used over and over for many years, and it is just a matter of time before they break and no longer work. Some have already met their demise. It is also just a matter of time before VHS players are obsolete and I wonder how I could ever replace the wonderful wealth of tapes that I need and use on a regular basis.
Thanks for offering this.

I'm still holding on to tons of video tapes and even an old non working VCR in the hope of not having to lose everything. This way I could salvage everything and get rid of the excess junk around the house. Thanks!

When I first got married, we bought a video camera that used vhs tapes. I have all that footage and all the footage of my parents and grandmother that have passed and the births of my children and when they were babies on vhs and am so afraid that I will lose them, but the price to transfer them is way to high for me. I would love a chance to win.

thanks for sharing

We could really use this! Our VCR was just thrown away last week but we still have tapes with family memories on them that we want to be able to see still. I also have cassette tapes from when my brother-in-law was in the Peace Corps and he would send us tape letters. It was always such a treat to hear his voice while he was gone. I don't want to lose those memories either. Thanks for such an awesome giveaway!
