Vote, Vote, Vote!!!

Today is Election day, and we as proud citizens of the United States of America should get out and exercise the right to vote. It took so many women fighting for such a long period of time to gain this right for women. In 1920 the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution was passed, guaranteeing women the right to vote. There are still so many countries where the citizens do not have the right to vote. It is a sad realization, but so many people in the United States of America take this right, this privilege for granted. I think of voting as our chance to get involved in our government. After all, the government is there to serve the people (that is you and me), shouldn't we do everything we can to get the right people in those offices. This is our chance to make our voice heard, to make a difference in our government.

So ladies, garb those voter registration cards and head out to the poles. You will be surprised at how empowered it will make you feel.

Vote, vote, vote!! Let's do our part to make our great country a wonderful place for our children and for ourselves.
