Tackle it Tuesday!!

Okay, so today I decided to tackle the closet in the babies room. I have to admit that I have not really touched it since we moved in, and that was almost a month ago (I know, terrible)!!

So, this is the before picture:
**The diaper in the floor is a baby doll diaper, not a dirty diaper, Just wanted to put that out there**

After a few minutes of sorting and hanging clothes, this is the after picture:
Much better, now I do not have to cringe when I go to open the closet door!!

So, have you tackled a project today??  If so, leave a comment and share, or head over to 5 minutes for mom and check out what others have tackled this week!!

Some other great places to stop by are:  Anti-procrastination Tuesday and Thirty Minute Blog Challenge.

New Cookware!!!

If you have been reading my blog for a while you probably know that I really like Rachel Ray. I love her recipes, and her cookbooks. We have been in need of some new cookware here for some time now. I went shopping today, and spotted a "Going Out Of Business" sign at Linens and Things so we stopped to see what kind of deals we could find. I was so excited to see the Rachel Ray cookware set, Knife set, and tong set on sale for 30% off. I know that 30% doesn't seem like much, but the cookware set retail price was $199.00, the Knife retail price was $99.00, and the tong set retail price was $29.99. I paid $139.00 for the cookware set, $69.00 for the knife set, and $20.99 for the tong set. My total was $247.14, which ads up to a savings of $99.00. I normally would not buy such high priced items, but since I cook all of the time, I thought it would be a good investment. Not to mention that it will give me a little motivation to get going in the kitchen when I don't really feel like it.

Baby Leg Warmers!!!

These are so cute, and so easy to make. I was looking for patterns and directions on how to make baby leg warmers. I have seen several sites that sell them, and figured they should not be that hard to make. Then I found this tutorial on Everything Your Mama Made and More. It uses ladies socks to make the baby leg warmers. I found some cute socks at roses for $1.00 a pair, so I grabbed three pairs of socks. Last night I pulled out the sewing machine and made some leg warmers. This is one pair that I made. They are not perfect, and I did not match the direction of the hearts up very well on one leg, but I don't think they are too bad.
I will use these to put under my little princesses pants when we go outside, because her pants always seem to ride up and her legs get cold. I think this will definitely help with that problem.
So, if you have some free time and some extra socks, pull out those sewing machines and get crafty.
