I don't know if I have ever shared photos of my entire family with you all, but here is my CRAZY crew!!
Okay, so I will be honest with you all about how my days usually go.
6:00 AM Wake up to children running up and down the hall, and most of the time there is at least one who is screaming about something.
6:05 Start the coffee, that's right, I cannot live without it!!
6:10 Drink my first enormous cup of coffee loaded with sweetener and French Vanilla Creamer, did I mention how much I LOVE coffee, and prepare breakfast.
6:30 Breakfast time, this is when I release the hungry mob!!
7:00 to 8:00 This is when I blog and check thousands of emails, haha!! The kids have play time.
8:00 to 10:00 During the school year this is when we homeschool, however since we are out for the summer there has been lots of cleaning going on. I must admit that my children get their daily dose of cartoons at this time. I know that several moms are against too much TV, but sometimes you've just got to do what you've got to do!!
8:30 MORE COFFEE!!
11:00 This is when we have lunch, and after lunch is nap time, WOOOHOOO!! Love me some nap time, LOL. I take advantage of this time to work (yes I also do freelance writing) and check more emails.
2:00 Nap time is over and snack must be served, or my children are convinced that they will starve to death, but if you have ever seen my children you would beg to differ. They are very healthy!!
MORE COFFEE, I told you I have to have it!!
Between 2:00 and 4:00 I do more cleaning or work on home projects. We also play a lot during this time.
4:00 I start dinner, I know this is really early for some folks, but we eat at 5:00 in this house!!
5:00 Dinner time, during which I spend most of my time cleaning up spills and refilling plates and cups.
6:00 This is bath time, other than eating this is my children's favorite time of the day!!
7:30 This for my children is bed time, and for me it is a sanity break!!
Even MORE COFFEE!!
From 7:30 until whenever I catch up on blogging, check email, work on freelance projects, and occasionally read a book or two. I also like to sew during this time, I make pillowcase dresses.
That is the normal routine here, I spend lots of time changing poop, wiping noses, and breaking up disagreements between my five children. Oh, and let's not forget the occasional trip to the ER, like last week. They are all close in age, so you can imagine all of the "disagreements" that they have.
Needless to say our days are filled with fun, but I would not trade them for the world. I love my family, and the craziness that is my home. It makes me who I am, and they make me want to be the best person that I can possibly be. It means a lot when you know that you have five small sets of eyes watching your every move, and knowing that they will imitate your actions and words.
The life of a SAHM may be boring to some, but I LOVE IT!!
