If you are considering buying your flour and sugar in bulk, but are worried how to store it, the solution can be simple. Stop by your local grocery store and ask the bakery department if they have any icing buckets that they need to get rid of. These work perfectly for storing extra flour and sugar. We were able to get two 5 gallon buckets, and two smaller buckets for free. We brought them home, washed them out really well, and they were ready to go. One little tip, make sure you write what is inside of the bucket on the outside of the bucket.
